Public Information Meeting

The meetings will take place at East Troy Village Hall located at 2015 Energy Drive, East Troy, WI53120 on Thursday, November 12th, 2026; with the Local Officials Meeting/Operational Planning Meeting from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Public Information Meeting from 4:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m

Purpose and Need:

The purpose of this project is to correct the vertical alignment to restore the required stopping distance and intersection site distances approaching Stone School Road.  The need for this project is due to the location experiencing visibility limitations that prevent drivers on both approaches from adequately identifying conflicting movements.

Project Scope:

The scope of work consists of modifying the roadway profile to correct the existing vertical curve and provide the required stopping and intersection sight distance for the posted 45 mph speed limit.  Improvements are anticipated to include lowering the existing roadway profile, reconstructing the pavement structure, regrading foreslopes and ditches, adjusting driveway connections as needed, and extending or replacing drainage facilities impacted by the revised profile.
