This Week:
🚧 Continue sheeting installation with second phase delivery.
🚧 7/23 During sheet installation a gas line was punctured and work was halted. A temporary bypass gasline was installed outside of the work area. Miller and We Energies were working on this until 7:30pm.
🚧 7/23 2:30pm Construction Meeting: Several options were discussed. DNR was out to asess.
👏Thank you ETAESD, TET-PD, Miller and We Energies for your fast response time and hard work.
🚧 7/24 Lynch, Contech and RLP are reviewing three contingency options and their construction-ability given the soil condition. The goal is to have a plan regardless of the soil condition found once digging next week and to be able to move forward with minimal down time. However, you know the old saying you plan, God laughs.
🚧 7/24 Continue Sheeting Installation. Several sheets are requiring welding to hold them in place because the soil is so soft.
Next Week:
🚧 Finish Sheeting Installation
🚧 Excavation begins
🚧 Dirty Water Dewatering Continues
🚧 Continue Additional Bypass Pumping as needed 🌧️
⚠️ Please slow down when diving down the temporary road. Collaboration with the Contractor, Town DPW, Lynch and The DNR will continue as we navigate these unforeseen challenges as efficiently as possible.
There will be weekly construction meetings (Thursdays) and Updates Posted on the Town Website and Facebook each Friday. Subscribe to the Town website to keep up with the latest information.
