Snow and the bitter cold move in tonight through Thursday, with the wind expected to pack a significant punch Thursday night into Friday night. Blizzard conditions are still possible Thursday night through Friday night. Anyone who becomes stranded while traveling between Thursday night and Saturday night may quickly find themselves in a life threatening situation given the very cold air mass moving in. If you have to travel later this week, Please make sure you have an emergency kit in your vehicle.

0732 12-21-2022 Winter Storm Update:
The 1st part of the storm will be accumulating snow from late this afternoon – Thursday evening. Snow fall amounts have increased with 4 to 7 inches forecast. The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect during this time.
The 2nd part of the storm will bring additional snow and strong winds of 40 to 50 mph from Thursday night – Saturday wide spread blowing and drifting snow is expected, blizzard conditions are also possible. The highest winds are expected Friday through out the day and into Friday Night. Due to variability in storm track, snowfall amounts remain uncertian, therefore, the Winter Storm Watch remains in effect.
